The goal of the project was to restore and enhance the aspen groves and wetland habitat function for long term and sustainable benefits. Project tasks included treating headcuts and stream incision at the headwaters of Willow Creek, building buck and pole fence around the springs to prevent livestock intrusion, remove culverts and headgates associated Campbell Mill Reservoir and replace outflow with a rock ramp/roughened channel spillway. The final task is to stabilize the reservoir levee to maintain waterbird habitat and wetland function.
